Hullapalooza - Who's had the best week?
i put my money in! no questions asked! i am about to lose my wife over it. i dont care!
He did well,, but came across as a spokesman for the Pozzo family
Good stuff, Mike.
The Cleverley appointment suits everyone, I believe. It is a fan pleasing appointment that is a bit of a pacifier, which suits the club hierarchy. It is also a potentially cheap move for the club. It suits Cleverley down to the ground as it is a big step up very early in his career and a chance to prove himself as a coach with a young group of players with the only expectation being to stay clear of relegation. Hopefully it also suits the players to work with a coach who is fresh out of the game with great playing experience who can genuinely bring them on rather as opposed to working with a dinosaur like Ranieri/Hodgson. I mean Warnock was linked when Val was sacked! Imagine the contrast. Ultimately, it is a great fit and possibly the ideal appointment, especially if we are transitioning back to the old model of trying to bring players through as well. If it goes badly, it goes badly, it certainly makes a lot of sense to me at this moment as he's already shown he can be competitive, even against strong sides in this division with a side that looked capable of losing pretty much all the remaining games under Val.
The answer for CBs in the Tikvic loan and using Ngakia as spare RCB
No mention of Doumbia in the forward discussion
The Cleverley Affair? Instead of era.
Sorry, nearly spat my drink out everywhere when I heard £10m for Rajovic in a years time. He is utterly dreadful! Would keep Bayo, would integrate Shaq Forde into the squad and add a replacement for Rajovic who we just need to cut loose at this point!!
He seems like a nice lad but he's not a Championship footballer. We need both fullbacks replacing plus a striker I think
Strange to be talking about departures like Chakvetadze when Imran Louza is probably going to be first out the door and would command and reasonable fee. I would have thought Louza and Asprilla will go.
Pozzo only invested £9m in his first ten years. The Pozzo family only invested a further £41m during COVID. Why? The club was going to go bust. Unless there is outside investment, the club will struggle to sustain a foothold in the Championship. League one is looming large on the horizon.
Fascinating to listen to. I had the privilege of meeting and interviewing Graham Taylor for a Heritage Lottery Funded Project about The Wolves in the 1950s focussed in particular on his involvement with Wing Commander Charles Reep at Watford who had previously advised Stan Cullis . I spoke to him several times on the phone after that as well circa 2014 / 15. He really did give me his time. He was a Fantastic Bloke. I can’t speak highly enough of him. I’ll definitely be buying the book !!!!!!!!!!! I’m looking forward to reading it.

We go again on Wednesday COYH!
We hadn't won at home until we played you. Granted, but have you seen all the shocking decisions we have had go against us in those games we drew?
Leeds Utd are the best team in Championship. The front 4 are arguably the best front 4 the Championship has ever seen. Daniel Farke is the best manager in the Championship, his track record proves that. Throw all that in the mix, Leeds win the Championship.
"Fresh air can't play Centre Back!", Classic!
He just astounds me as a fellow yorkshireman his passion, energy and enthusiasm shines through all what he was able to achieve at the age of 35 getting the orns promoted is amazing his career inspires me he'll always be apart of a great his at watford. COYO💛❤🖤🐝

fucking watford cunt's.
Guys come on! Love the content but production is awful! Get toegther.. get a desk/sofa some scarfs or flags something!!
Wouldn't that be a treat... We can gather all those things easy, just not us. Family life is too important to us to gather for a video. We find it hard enough for the podcast some weeks. And the important thing is content - content is king!
will be a tough match, i would take the draw.
Great stuff lads! :)
will hughes needs a look in
I think I'd play Hughes or Capoue in the #10 position with Deeney up front, Carillo on the right and Fermenia at right back. Gray and Janmatt on the bench. Enjoy the game!
A true legend who can surpass the geniuses of Lee Catermole and Robbie Savage this weekend!
wot no Collins John?
I'd say Jack Bonham over Loach. That game against Leeds smh
Yh loach was good until that last season! We had to get in kuzack on loan lol
